Welcome to MalvernMalvern has a small town village atmosphere. There's a "downtown" shopping area with restaurants, shops, antique stores and more. It's one of the few towns where you can park your car and walk to the shops and restaurants. The town dates to the Victorian era and some of the houses and building reflect the architecture of that time. There's a park a block from King Street - the main street - with a large clock that always reminds me of the movie, Peter Pan for some reason. Many community activities are held throughout the year in this park. You can take the train from Malvern into center city Philadelphia or other towns along the Main Line. There are also buses that go to West chester, the Mall at Exton Square and the King of Prussia Mall. Many people who live within the borough are long time residents of Malvern. They like the small town atmosphere and convenience of the location. The Borough is 1.3 square miles and has a population of approximately 3,200. Malvern has experienced significant growth over the past few years and continues to see tremendous revitalization in both the residential and commercial districts. Funding for the revitalization has been a partnership between the Borough government and the County of Chester.
