How a Buyer's Agent Will Help You


A Buyer's Agent represents your best interests in negotiating the sale and representing you and your needs at closing. As your Buyer Agent, I will….

  • Provide you with appropriate disclosure information

  • Discuss with you, in person or over the phone, your goals regarding your move

  • Assist you in working with a financial institution to arrange for a mortgage pre-approval (if required)

  • Notify you immediately of available homes that meet your search criteria via email, telephone, cell phone, fax or whatever method works best for you

  • Arrange to walk you through homes that meet your needs

  • Provide you with information regarding recent comparable sales for homes that interest you

  • Secure all disclosure information from the seller

  • Provide you with an estimate of your closing costs

  • Assist you in filling out a sales contract

  • Negotiate the best possible price and terms for you

  • Coordinate home inspections, radon inspections, wood destroying insect inspections, well water inspections, on-site septic inspections, etc. as per your request

  • If need be, negotiate requested repairs with seller/seller’s agent

  • Attend settlement with you, as your agent.
